Sacred
Heart Social Concerns ministry is dedicated to bringing assistance and
friendship to those in need. This need may be a
sickness, disability, family problems, loneliness,
alcoholism, drug abuse, or loss of a job or a spouse.
Here at
Sacred Heart, our organization discreetly helps those
in need in central New Jersey and works in conjunction
with Catholic Charities within the Diocese of Metuchen. Some of
the programs we manage are:

Providing food and short term monetary assistance for
those in need while providing guidance on securing
long term assistance provided by various state or
federal agencies

Providing friendship and comfort while in transition

Providing assistance to groups, such as Life Choices,
F.I.S.H., Catholic Charities and CRS (Catholic Relief
Services)

Tree to collect gift cards for perishable food items
and clothing

Boxes - the primary source of funds
