St.
Vincent de Paul (SVDP) is an international
organization, affiliated with the Catholic Church,
that is dedicated to bringing assistance and
friendship to those in need. Whether it is a sickness,
disability, family problems, loneliness, alcoholism,
drug abuse, loss of a job or spouse, SVDP is there to
help.
Here at
Sacred Heart, our organization discreetly helps those
in need in central New Jersey and works in conjunction
with other SVDP groups from other parishes. Some of
the programs we manage are:

Providing food and short term monetary assistance for
those in need while providing guidance on securing
long term assistance provided by various state or
federal agencies

Providing friendship and comfort while in transition

Providing assistance to other SVDP groups within the
US

Advent
Tree to collect items for babies that are given to
Life Choices for mothers

Lenten
Fish Dinners
